Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain professional with experience in the Wind Energy sector. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure timely availability of materials and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- To Create and processing of Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO)
- To Ensuring accuracy and timely release of POs as per project requirements
- Vendor identification, registration, and onboarding
- Vendor evaluation, comparison, and finalization
- To Maintaining strong vendor relationships for smooth supply flow
- To Floating RFQs (Request for Quotations) to vendors
- Comparative analysis of quotations (techno-commercial evaluation)
- Negotiation and finalization of pricing and commercial terms
- Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery of materials
- Coordination with internal teams (projects, finance, stores)
- Maintaining proper procurement records and documentation
- Handling procurement related to wind turbine components, site materials, or EPC requirements (preferred)
- Understanding of wind project timelines and supply dependencies
Qualifications - B. Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 -5 years of experience
- Experience in the Wind Energy sector will be highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
- Experience in PR/PO lifecycle management
