Job details:
We're hiring a detail-oriented Logistics & Import Coordinator to own end-to-end shipment and inventory coordination for an apparel/fashion supply chain — from freight booking through customs clearance to final warehouse intake. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role at the center of import operations, ensuring apparel products move smoothly and on time from origin to destination.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on 3PL, ocean freight, and customs experience specifically within the apparel or fashion industry, along with a stable career history and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Freight & Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate ocean (and air, where applicable) freight bookings with carriers and freight forwarders for apparel shipments
- Track shipment ETAs and proactively flag potential delays before they escalate
- Review packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, and carton details for accuracy
3PL & Customs Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact with 3PL warehouse partners, ensuring smooth handoffs and aligned systems
- Coordinate customs clearance documentation, including HS code classification (textiles/apparel-specific), duty calculation, and compliance checks
- Resolve customs holds or documentation mismatches quickly to avoid downstream delays
Inventory & Stock Accuracy
- Update arrival and intake statuses as apparel stock is received and logged
- Flag stock discrepancies (SKU, size, colour, variant-level) early and reconcile internal records with 3PL/warehouse data
- Maintain accurate tracking sheets across shipment, customs, and inventory stages
Purchase Order & Product Data Support
- Support raising and updating purchase orders — costs, quantities, colours, sizes, and delivery dates
- Maintain accurate variant and product master data, aligned with sampling and production timelines
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Provide timely shipment/ETA updates to Customer Service, E-Commerce, and Finance teams
- Assist Logistics and Finance teams with documentation requirements
- Maintain well-structured tracking sheets and shared documentation
What We're Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience in logistics, freight, or supply chain operations
- Prior experience within the apparel/fashion industry is required — hands-on exposure to apparel product flow, seasonal/line-list timing, or variant-level (size/colour) stock management
- Hands-on experience with 3PL coordination (not just general warehouse/last-mile logistics)
- Direct experience with ocean freight bookings specifically
- Working knowledge of customs clearance processes and HS code documentation (textile/apparel classifications a plus)
- Strong stock/inventory reconciliation experience
- Confident with Excel/Google Sheets and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Stable career history — steady tenure in prior roles preferred
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
Why Join Us
- Own a critical, high-visibility function connecting global freight operations to apparel retail execution
- Work directly with international 3PL partners, freight forwarders, and customs agents
- Be part of a growing, quality-driven fashion brand with a collaborative culture
- Clear growth path within the Supply Chain and Logistics function
