About the Role
We are seeking a CMO Operations Supply Coordinator to ensure the reliable and compliant supply of biosimilar products from our network of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
In this role, you’ll coordinate production, shipment, and batch execution activities, while serving as the primary operational contact for assigned CMOs. Your performance metrics, manage schedules, and collaborate closely with Quality, Logistics, Planning, and Technical Operations to maintain continuous supply and support global patient access.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operational problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and building strong supplier relationships in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day manufacturing and shipment activities with assigned CMOs to meet on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery targets.
- Serve as the main operational contact for CMOs, maintaining effective communication and strong working relationships.
- Track and report supply performance metrics, including OTIF, batch yield, schedule adherence, and deviations.
- Maintain accurate production schedules, batch tracking, and ERP data (SAP preferred).
- Support issue resolution and escalation with cross-functional teams (Quality, Planning, Technical Operations, Logistics).
- Contribute to CMO performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical supply coordination, preferably in external manufacturing/CMO operations.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of GMP and regulated manufacturing practices.
Preferred:
- Experience in biosimilars, biologics, or sterile manufacturing.
- Supply chain or project management certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
- Familiarity with data mining, reporting and presentation tools such as Power BI
