Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain and Distribution Channel Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain processes and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize profitability while ensuring seamless product delivery to customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and distribution network, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
2. Manage and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
3. Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, and marketing, to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly.
4. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain and distribution network.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the performance of the supply chain and distribution channels.
7. Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
8. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain management and distribution.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or distribution channels, preferably in the Apparel and E-commerce sector.
3. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and distribution strategies.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
5. Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
10. 10-12 years of relevant experience in retail and e-commerce sector will be preferred.
