Role & Responsibilities :
● Participate and actively support the certification process of new Suppliers and Materials in all main phases (CPA, CPV & CTA)
● Manage direct and indirect hourly workers in the incoming inspection area
● Act as a cross-functional bridge with Procurement, Manufacturing, R&D and Logistics to align supplier quality standards, resolve recurring issues, and support new product or supplier development
● Perform autonomous process and product audits at suppliers to guarantee the proper approach to supplier development and ensure the quality control of outsourced components
● Interface with suppliers regarding the quality of acquired products and services, performing rigorous follow-up on corrective actions (8D), contingency plans, and continuous improvement initiatives to guarantee their perfect execution
● Manage the flow of quarantined items, returns of non-conforming lots to suppliers, and conditional releases
● Define and execute robust contingency plans (e.g., 100% sorting) and open 8D reports for suppliers within proper lead time of identifying deviations
● Ensure the implementation of the 3Q6S methodology and Golden Safety Rules in the area
Experience :
● Minimum 7 to 12 years of experience in Quality Management.
Knowledge :
● Expertise in P-FMEA, APQP/AQP, First Part Approval process, Measurement System Analysis, and Statistical Process Control;
Proficiency in SAP
Competencies :
● Strong leadership and team development skills
● High sense of urgency and quick decision-making under pressure to meet tight Service Level Agreements
● Excellent negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier communication skills
