Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Supplier Quality Specialist based in Aurangabad. The Supplier Quality Specialist will be responsible for evaluating and developing suppliers to meet company quality standards, implementing and managing supplier quality programs, and ensuring adherence to quality control processes. Additional responsibilities include conducting audits, managing supplier performance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved. The role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the quality of components and materials in alignment with JSW Motors' standards for sustainable and cutting-edge products.
Qualifications
- Experience in Supplier Evaluation processes and the ability to assess and develop supplier capabilities.
- Proficiency in Supplier Quality Management and Quality Assurance to maintain and enhance production standards.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices and familiarity with Quality Management systems and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Engineering degree or equivalent in a related field; additional certifications in quality management systems are a plus.
- Experience in the automotive sector, particularly electric vehicle manufacturing, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and sustainability concepts is advantageous.
