Job Description
Job Summary:
Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. Qualify suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Programme in receiving inspection. Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier related problems. Develop and prioritize an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices and quality standards are met. Evaluate suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance.
You will be reporting to Senior Manager, Supplier Quality and will work hybrid based out of Bangalore location.
Your Responsibilities
- Risk and Compliance : Identify supplier-related risks. - Define process controls. - Participate in the Part Qualification Process. - Interpret and align with relevant regulations. - Use data to assess potential security risk and vulnerabilities.
- Analytics and Data Management : Conduct data-driven quality assurance planning. - Leverage predictive insights and translate them into action. - Identify opportunities to use data to improve
- Understand Quality requirements by commodity. - Evaluate approval process for suppliers, following established guidelines. - Qualify suppliers based on company standards
- Issue Management: Lead issue to resolution cycles. - Define and monitor corrective and preventative action. - Support cost recovery emerging from issues management/ correct actions (in partnership with Sourcing)
- Cross-Collaboration within Rockwell : Provide input into engineering plans Collaborate with design and test teams for early risk mitigation. –
The Essentials - You Will Have
- Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech. in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer science, engineering or related field)
- A minimum of 1 or more years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering and
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
- Experience working with SAP and ERP systems.
- Expertise in Power Platform tools ( Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) Sharepoint designs and other Microsoft tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and with external suppliers.
- Yellow or Green Belt certified.
