Role Description The Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Haridwar facility. The Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, including managing shop-floor teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow to ensure targets are met. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and quality standards, coordinating with maintenance and logistics teams, and ensuring proper use of machinery and materials. The role involves tracking production data, preparing basic reports, addressing operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Supervisor will also help train team members, promote clear communication, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate diverse teams on the shop floor.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing or packaging processes, including production planning, quality checks, and workflow coordination.
- Ability to maintain and promote workplace safety, follow standard operating procedures, and ensure regulatory and company compliance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and resolving day-to-day operational issues.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage shift operations.
- Comfort with using basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) to record production data and prepare reports.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or a similar environment is preferred.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management, or a related field is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Haridwar and adapt to shift schedules as required by production demands.
