Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Supervisor for an on-site role based in Chennai. The Supervisor will oversee and manage daily operations, ensure timely and efficient transportation or warehousing activities, and maintain compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams for process execution, monitoring performance metrics, and addressing operational challenges to meet productivity goals. The candidate will collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to direct and support team members effectively.
- Proficiency in operational monitoring, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
- Prior experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or supervising workflows in transportation and warehousing environments.
- Familiarity with technology tools for real-time tracking, reporting, and operational analysis; proficiency in MS Office Suite is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, time management, and organizational capabilities.
- Knowledge of regulations, certifications, and standards relevant to logistics and supply chain processes, such as ISO certifications or safety protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
