Role Description The Supervisor and Order Processor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day order processing operations, including receiving customer orders, verifying details, updating internal systems, and coordinating with warehouse or production teams to ensure timely fulfillment. The role involves supervising a small team, assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and resolving operational issues to maintain accuracy and efficiency. The Supervisor and Order Processor will communicate with internal stakeholders to track order status, handle basic customer queries related to orders, and escalate issues when needed. The role also includes maintaining records, following company procedures, supporting process improvements, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage and supervise daily operations, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and team support.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple orders and deadlines accurately.
- Comfort with using computers and order management or ERP systems for data entry, record keeping, and reporting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and handling customer-related order queries.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies, correct errors, and improve processes.
- Previous experience in order processing, logistics, retail, or operations supervision is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat and collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Minimum educational qualification at the high school or diploma level; a degree in business, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
