Role Description The Supervisor – Risk Advisory will oversee and execute risk advisory engagements, including risk assessments, internal audits, control reviews, and compliance testing for a diverse portfolio of clients. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves planning and managing projects, coordinating with clients to understand their business processes and risk environments, and identifying control gaps and improvement opportunities. The supervisor will prepare and review workpapers, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations, while ensuring quality and adherence to professional standards. Responsibilities also include guiding and mentoring team members, monitoring engagement timelines and budgets, and supporting the development of risk advisory methodologies and best practices. The role requires regular collaboration with partners, managers, and client stakeholders to deliver practical, value-added risk solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong risk advisory, internal audit, and internal controls skills, with the ability to perform risk assessments and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in analyzing business processes, documenting workflows, and evaluating operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations, and communicate complex risk and control issues to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience supervising audit or advisory teams, reviewing workpapers, and managing engagement timelines and deliverables.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer science or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and industry best practices in assurance and advisory services.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with standard office and data analysis tools; experience with audit or risk management software is a plus.
