Role Description The Supervisor – Last Mile Operations is a full-time, on-site role located in Piduguralla, responsible for overseeing daily last-mile delivery activities. This role includes managing delivery associates, coordinating route planning, monitoring shipment status, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers. The supervisor will track performance metrics, address operational issues, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Responsibilities also include liaising with internal teams and external partners, managing documentation and compliance requirements, and maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on involvement on the ground to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in last-mile delivery, logistics operations, or supply chain supervision, preferably within eCommerce or transportation environments.
- Strong skills in team leadership, workforce supervision, and vendor or delivery associate management, with the ability to motivate and guide on-ground teams.
- Proficiency in route planning, shipment tracking, and basic logistics software or mobile applications used for delivery management and reporting.
- Ability to analyze operational data, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and customer service levels.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, compliance practices, and documentation requirements in logistics and transportation operations.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Willingness to work on-site in Piduguralla, with flexibility to handle operational demands, including peak hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
