Senior Software Engineer - OBIEE

THE OPPORTUNITY
The ideal candidate will be extremely proficient in Data Engineering and ETL
methodologies and business intelligence solutions. You must be strong in all aspects of data warehousing and data engineering technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Masters plus 5 years or Bachelors plus 8 years’ strong experience in data warehousing and data engineering. 
• Experience on OBIEE RPD Development.
• Experience on OBIEE UI Customizations.
• Experience on Maintaining and Installing OBIEE on Linux.
• Solid hands on experience in developing data pipelines using Informatica. 
• Good hand-on with BI tools, especially OBIEE.
• Must have experience with MPP data warehouses , Preferably Snowflake.
• Prior experience in designing and building large scale data warehouses.
• Strong commitment to good engineering discipline and process including code reviews and delivering unit tests in conjunction with feature delivery.
• Must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong
  presentation and facilitation skills are required. 
• Self-starter that is results focused with the ability to work independently and in teams.

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Prior experience in any programming language , preferably Java
  Sound knowledge on ETL/DWH methodologies.
• Previous experience with SQL ( Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
  Exposure in other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI. 
• Experience working within a distributed engineering team including offshore. 
• Familiarity and experience with agile (scrum) development process and tools.
• Proven track record of identifying and championing new technologies that enhance the end-user experience, software quality, and developer productivity. 
• Exposure in Big Data eco system is a plus.
