Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Supermarket Cashier, based in Noida. The Cashier will be responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions, handling payments, issuing receipts, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional duties include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with inventory management, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications
- Basic math and cash-handling skills, including experience working with scanners, cash registers, and credit/debit card processing systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills to ensure positive customer experiences
- Ability to manage time effectively, maintain accuracy, and handle high-pressure situations during peak hours
- Basic understanding of inventory assistance and product restocking
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or retail experience is a plus
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights
