BI Developer (Cerner/CCL)

This is a remote position. Superlanet is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer for a remote, 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity with our healthcare client in Texas. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Cerner EMR systems, especially Discern Analytics and CCL (Cerner Command Language), and a strong command of SQL. This role is perfect for a data-savvy developer who excels at transforming clinical and operational data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support business intelligence and reporting needs. Extract and manipulate data from Cerner EMR systems using CCL, Discern Analytics, Healthy Analytics, and HDI. Develop and support dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Crystal Reports, WEBi, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical solutions that support decision-making. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across reporting platforms. Support ongoing maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of BI solutions and underlying databases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related quantitative field preferred. 2+ years of experience with SQL, including SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, or Snowflake. 4+ years of experience with Business Intelligence/reporting tools, including Crystal Reports, WEBi, and dashboard technologies like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI. 4+ years of experience working with healthcare IT databases, including data extraction, normalization, and reporting. Strong proficiency in CCL and Cerner-specific tools (Discern Analytics, Healthy Analytics, HDI) is required.
