Developer Advocate

Supabase is looking for an experienced Developer Advocate to help drive adoption and community engagement for our open-source database platform. As a Developer Advocate, you will be the voice of the Supabase community, advocating for our users, and driving awareness and adoption of our products. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to understand our roadmap and translate that into compelling content and outreach programs. Responsibilities: - Engage with the Supabase developer community through a variety of channels (e.g. forums, social media, events, etc.) to understand their needs and pain points - Create and deliver technical content (e.g. blog posts, tutorials, videos, webinars) that helps developers be successful with Supabase - Represent Supabase at industry events, conferences, and meetups to build relationships and increase awareness of our platform - Work closely with the Supabase product and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights from the community - Contribute to the Supabase open-source project by fixing bugs, improving documentation, and building sample applications Requirements: - 3+ years of experience as a developer advocate, developer relations engineer, or a similar role - Strong technical background and experience with database technologies, APIs, and modern web development - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal - Passion for building and engaging with developer communities - Experience with content creation (e.g. blog posts, tutorials, videos) - Familiarity with open-source software development and communities - Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person events and conferences
