About the companySunset Legacy Partners is a private investment firm dedicated to identifying and acquiring a private company in niche sectors across North America. Our approach relies on heavily on personalized cold emails and custom outreach to founders and business owners. We are looking for a meticulous and driven Email Copywriter to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our mission to identify and engage with owners of potential acquisition targets.
About the role
You DO NOT need prior finance or analyst experience. You DO need 1) strong email copywriting skills 2) a relentless work ethic and hunger to learn, 3) be fluent in English, 4) be a self-starter, and 5) ability to research companies and industries to write custom personalization
Your primary responsibility will be to research companies, founders, and industries of interest and write personalized cold email copy for us to reach out to them. You must be an expert in online research and know how to leverage ai to work efficiently, but most importantly you must write human (non ai) copy.
Additionally, you will use our tech stack and visit target company website to write:
1. 1-3 word descriptions that describe the specific industry or space the company operates in (e.g., if it's a cybersecurity provider do they specialize in endpoint or SIEM, etc.) You must learn to understand and speak like a customer of the business.
2. Customized and personalized emails that we will send. We have a high bar for strong personalization and are seeking candidates who are excited to meet that challenge.
This work will be essential for our evaluation and outreach efforts.
