Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. This Co-Op role is designed for Master's candidates with at least 1+ years of relevant experience in data analytics and/or data engineering. The candidate will build data pipelines, analyze our healthcare and fintech data, and leveraging their working knowledge of AWS components to manage data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that power reporting dashboards and other services.
· Utilize AWS components (e.g., S3, Redshift) to retrieve, process, and manage data for analysis.
· Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation using dbt / SQL, Python, or other relevant tools.
· Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret business requirements.
· Document workflows, technical specifications, and best practices.
· Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
· 1+ years of relevant experience in a data role.
· Working knowledge of AWS components such as S3, Redshift, or similar services.
· Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
· Familiarity with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Python pandas).
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into clear, actionable presentations.
· Familiary with Tableau or other BI tool is a bonus.
· Interest in healthcare or financial technology domains is a bonus.
