SDET 2 (Mobile Automation - Appium)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Appium automation frameworks for mobile applications.
• Design and implement automated test cases using Java/Python and Appium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring high product quality.
• Optimize test execution and CI/CD pipeline integration for automation scripts.
• Implement parallel execution and leverage cloud-based testing tools like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, or AWS Device Farm.
• Work on performance testing and security testing for mobile applications.
• Continuously enhance automation processes to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on Appium (Android & iOS).
• Strong proficiency in Java/Python for test automation.
• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or BDD frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured.
• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX guidelines and accessibility testing.
• Experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in using version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug mobile automation failures.
