Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Generalist to join our People x Culture team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our People x Culture functions, including employee relations, compliance, training, benefits administration, and performance management. The HR Generalist will work closely with both employees and management to ensure our people operations are running smoothly while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Support:

• Lead onboarding for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration of new employees into the company culture.
• Manage offboarding, including exit interviews, final documentation, system deactivation, and benefits coordination.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws related to the employee lifecycle.
  
  

Employee Relations

• Support the People x Culture Business Partner Director in resolving issues related to workplace conflicts, performance, or other HR-related matters.
• Promote a positive work environment by maintaining open communication and addressing employee needs.
  
  

Compliance & Policies

• Assist the Sr. Manager Total Rewards in ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies by staying updated on legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  
  

Performance Management

• Assist with performance appraisal processes, providing guidance and support to managers on performance evaluations and goal setting.
• Monitor employee development and recommend training or growth opportunities.
  
  

Payroll And Benefits Administration

• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by gathering and verifying team timekeeping records, submitting payroll changes, and coordinating with the payroll provider for issue resolution.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting and processing of benefits enrollment, changes, and claims.
  
  

Training & Development

• Coordinate or assist in organizing training sessions and professional development programs for employees at all levels.
• Track training effectiveness and employee development progress.
  
  

HR Reporting & Records

• Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, certifications, and training history.
• Generate HR reports as requested for management, such as turnover rates, absence reports, LOA reports, Overtime reports, and employee satisfaction surveys.
  
  

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in human resources or a related HR role.
• Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practice, particularly in CA.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
  

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Knowledge of labor laws and employee rights.
• Experience in conducting employee training and development programs.

Compensation & Benefits

• $86,500-113,610 is the salary range for this position. It represents a portion of the overall package, and includes flexibility based on the candidate's qualifications.
