Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join us as a Junior Legal Advisor. This role offers hands-on exposure to legal operations within the entertainment industry, including contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and content distribution frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key entertainment agreements, including:
- Content Creator Agreements
- Distribution & Licensing Agreements
- Artist Agreements, NDAs, Production Contracts, and Brand Collaboration Agreements
- Assisting in deal structuring for content creation, acquisition, and distribution
- Supporting legal documentation for films, web series, and digital media projects
- Conducting legal research on media laws, intellectual property rights, and entertainment regulations
- Ensuring legal compliance across all stages of content development, production, and distribution
- Maintaining legal records and documentation
- Assisting in due diligence for partnerships, collaborations, and content deals
Eligibility Criteria:
• Pursuing or recently completed LL.B. / LL.M.
• Strong understanding of contract law and basic knowledge of IP, media, and entertainment laws
• Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Prior internship experience (preferred but not mandatory)
• Freshers are welcome to apply
• Must be available to join immediately
Duration: 45 Working Days
Location: Mumbai (Remote)
Remuneration:
This is an unpaid internship. However, the role offers valuable industry exposure, direct client handling, and real-time deal experience.
