Role Description
Sagetics Energy Solutions is looking for a Business Development Summer Intern who is interested in learning about the electrical construction and EPC industry.
The intern will support the business development team in identifying potential clients such as EPC contractors, real estate developers, and infrastructure companies that may outsource electrical work to Sagetics.
The role involves market mapping, lead generation, client outreach, and identifying subcontracting opportunities in electrical EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Research and understand the electrical EPC and construction ecosystem including contractors, developers, and project consultants.
Identify large EPC contractors and real estate developers who may outsource electrical works.
Generate leads and potential business opportunities with companies such as
Godrej Properties
DLF Limited
M3M India
and other major builders and contractors.
Reach out to potential clients through emails, LinkedIn, calls, and networking.
Assist in developing and maintaining a database of contractors, builders, and project opportunities.
Support the team in generating new enquiries and identifying subcontracting opportunities for electrical works.
Conduct market research to track upcoming construction projects and tenders.
Help prepare presentations, proposals, and client communication materials.
Qualifications
Pursuing MBA / BBA / Engineering / Business-related degree
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in infrastructure, construction, or electrical EPC sector
Ability to conduct market research and lead generation
Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and LinkedIn outreach
Self-driven attitude with willingness to learn and interact with industry professionals
