Software Engineer (Hybrid)

SMBC Group is a top-tier global financial group, and they are seeking a Junior Software Engineer for their Middleware/API engineering team. The role involves building customer-facing Omni Channel Services for a digital bank, collaborating with various stakeholders to design, build, and maintain applications. Responsibilities: Applying design patterns in developing scalable and highly performant application/features Writing code and unit tests, automation, code reviews and testing Deploying to production and dev ops Work with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues. Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team. Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices. Qualification: Fundamentals in software engineering. Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Core JAVA, Database core concepts, Design Patterns. Team player, self-starter and passion for programming. Good verbal and written communication skills. Organization skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Knowledge of Cloud technologies is a plus but not necessity.
