<strong>Company Overview<br></strong>Sully's Steamers creates delicious sandwiches by placing excellent ingredients between two halves of a bagel. The sandwich is placed in a steamer, creating a hot, melty, tasty meal that no other concept creates. We are committed to providing a joyful work environment fostered by a crew of like-minded hospitality professionals.<br><br><strong>Job Summary<br></strong>The <strong>Shift Leader</strong> is responsible for effectively leading Sully’s Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager/AGM.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities </strong>
</div><ul>
<li>Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.</li>
<li>Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. As well as maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service. </li>
<li>Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.</li>
<li>Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues. </li>
<li>Follow up with employees on assigned tasks and monitor training of employees during shifts. </li>
<li>Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li>Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).</li>
<li>Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid driver's license.</li>
<li>Must be eligible to work in the United States.</li>
<li>Must be willing to submit to a background check.</li>
