We are looking for a Wellness Guide to join our team at 3-5 days per week, and someone who can work a consistent weekly schedule including nights and weekends.
Compensation:
- $12/hour during onboarding (typically about 15 shifts, or about 3-4 weeks)
- $13/hour plus tips and commissions immediately after completing onboarding
- $14/hour plus tips and commissions after completing all learning requirements and demonstrating proficiency in role (typically within 30-90 days, depending on your effort)
NOTE: On busier shifts, when including gratuity and commissions plus your hourly rate, you can average up to $20/per hour.
Our team members are eager to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. We are open 6 days a week. Shifts vary, starting at 9-10 AM to 4-6pm for dayshift and starting at 1-3 PM to 8-8:30 for nightshift. Evenings and weekends are required. We are not a seasonal business and do not hire seasonal team members.
You must be passionate about holistic wellness, self-care, and helping others feel their very best. Ideally, you’re already well-versed in the benefits of holistic services like ours. (We offer float therapy, halotherapy, deluxe massage chairs, infrared sauna dome, infrared PEMF mat, red light therapy, and other infrared treatments.)

We are a tiny, but mighty team. We typically have 4-6 team members, plus two owners. We rely heavily on commitments to scheduled shifts and proactive communication if you're not able to make it to a scheduled interview, or if hired, a scheduled shift.
Who You Are :
- You are 18 or older in order to be a Wellness Guide. Other positions may be available for younger candidates on rare occasions.
- People describe you as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to.
- You're calm, cool, and collected, even when you have several things to manage at once.
- You're not "loud". (We run a quiet retreat space - this is crucial.)
- You prioritize your own wellbeing and practice what we preach.
- You can read people pretty well and know when to stay quiet, when to ask questions, and when to provide support.
- You won't shy away from offering service packages and memberships to guests, or helping them select retail products.
- You love alternative wellness services and encourage people to prioritize their own self care.
- You are able to multitask and be aware of different things at the same time.
- You don’t find yourself muttering, “I hate people” everyday.
- You enjoy talking about big ideas.
- You love seeing others succeed.
- You listen more than you speak.
- You are adaptable and love to learn.
- You're comfortable with technology, gadgets, and gizmos.
- You notice little things and take great pride in creating a sparkling clean environment.
Truth be told: We're never in a rush to hire. We want to take our time to find the RIGHT person to join our team. We care deeply about what we do and how we care for and hold space for our guests. We hire the best of the best!

Physical Requirements:
- Our Float Center & Salt Cave is located in a basement level, and requires the ability to walk up and down stairs to enter the space.
- Our Salt Cave has ladders and steps, and requires team members to be able to climb those for cleaning purposes. It features a loose salt floor, which presents an uneven surface.
- All team members must be able to carry up to 50 pounds, which is the weight of one bag of epsom salt. We also require lifting/setting up a 26-pound infrared mat, lifting and moving heavy packages, and spending extended periods of time in motion and on your feet.
- Cleaning our showers and float cabins requires carefully navigating a wet, slippery environment in small spaces.
NOTE: This is your chance to wow us! In order to increase your chances at an interview, we're looking for thorough responses that offer more than a few words or a single sentence. If we aren't able to get a feel for who you are and what's important to you, what skills you would like to share, and how your personality would fit in with our team, we likely will not advance your application to the next round.
