Role Overview:
We are looking for someone who can turn spoken content into clear, precise, and easy-to-read subtitles and transcripts.
This is a detail-heavy role that requires strong listening skills, language clarity, and the ability to simplify fast-paced speech into clean, readable text.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating accurate subtitles for short-form and long-form video content
- Converting spoken dialogue into clean, structured transcripts
- Breaking down long sentences into concise, readable subtitle lines
- Ensuring proper timing, sync, and readability of subtitles
- Proofreading content for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
- Maintaining consistency in tone, formatting, and style across videos
Requirements:
- 5 - 6 months of experience in content writing, subtitling, or transcription
- Strong command of English (grammar, punctuation, sentence structure)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to simplify spoken language without losing meaning
- Good listening skills and ability to catch nuances in speech
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- We don’t expect you to know every tool, but familiarity with any of these is a plus: Descript, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut
