⚡ We’re Hiring: Substation Design Engineer! ⚡
Are you passionate about power systems and ready to take your substation engineering career to the next level? We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on substation engineering design experience
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in 138kV+ substation applications, including electrical schematics, control systems, connection drawings, and cabling.
- Core Knowledge: Mastery of AC/DC fundamentals, three-phase power, per-unit mathematics, symmetrical components, and substation component functions.
- Design & Calc Skills: Proven experience with GA (General Arrangement), Section Views, MTOs, and performing AC/DC and Lightning/Grounding calculations.
- Bonus Points: Experience with relay coordination and familiarity with current industry-standard electrical relays.
- Knowledge and understanding of three-phase power.
- Knowledge and understanding of per-unit mathematics and symmetrical components.
- Knowledge and understanding of substation components and their functions.
- Knowledge of design documents and drawings necessary to complete projects.
- Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software.
- Optional and great to have experience of BESS.
