Job Description – Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Subjects:
- Computer Science (Class 6th–12th)
- Science Foundation (Class 6th–8th)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: Remote / Work From Home
Preferred Location: Candidates residing near Noida will be preferred
About the Role
PW is looking for passionate and creative Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for Computer Science and Science Foundation subjects. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent content creation skills, and a passion for simplifying concepts for school students.
This role involves creating high-quality academic content aligned with school curriculum and foundation-level competitive preparation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong conceptual understanding of the respective subject
- Good communication and explanation skills
- Prior experience in academic content creation, teaching, or EdTech will be preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create engaging and curriculum-aligned study material for Classes 6th–12th
- Develop chapter-wise notes, assignments, worksheets, quizzes, and question banks
- Create student-friendly explanations and solutions
- Review and proofread academic content for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with academic and design teams for content enhancement
- Develop innovative learning resources and concept-based questions
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks
Required Skills
- Strong subject expertise in Computer Science or Science
- Ability to explain concepts in simple and interactive language
- Good written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace/MS Office tools
- Creative thinking and content structuring ability
- Understanding of school curriculum and student learning patterns
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates based near Noida will be preferred
- Prior experience in EdTech/content development is an advantage
- Passionate about teaching and academic content creation
