Job details:
Qualification- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in production chemistry within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization of production chemical applications.
Key Competencies & Responsibilities- Demonstrate comprehensive technical expertise across a wide range of production chemistry applications, including but not limited to:
- Corrosion inhibitors
- Scale inhibitors
- Demulsifiers
- Water treatment chemicals
- Biocides
- Oxygen scavengers
- Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) chemicals
- Other production chemicals used in upstream oil and gas operations
- Conduct technical evaluations, performance assessments, and case studies related to production chemical applications.
- Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures to optimize chemical treatment programs.
- Evaluate chemical performance and provide recommendations to improve production efficiency, asset integrity, and operational reliability.
- Possess sound knowledge of upstream production facilities, production processes, and production chemistry principles.
- Provide technical guidance and support for chemical selection, application, monitoring, and optimization.
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and presentations based on field data and laboratory results.
- Work closely with operations, production, laboratory, and engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of chemical management programs.
