Job summary
Builds EHE response with the Meta functions on project schedule, project budget (value & workforce), proto/means
needs, BOM and proposed organization (OBS) for EHE scope to achieve project targets.
Commits for EHE to the project on quality, performance, timing, and cost targets (including outsourcing, Serial life
tool), through an engineering plan agreed by both parties.

- feature & SW readiness,
- RFQ deliveries,

- validation, integration validation plan progress,
- industrialization performance
- homologation process"
"Leads convergence on features:
To check if allotment of functional contribution for each sub-system is achieved.
To check maturity progress of the contribution of functional design for each sub-system.
To check upstream functional for our sub-systems.
To ensure that sub-systems activities and deliverables are compliant with PQCD target.
To ensure that sub-system deliverables meet component expectations (software and hardware) Leads the EE meta function representatives. Suggests with EE Meta functions style/technical/service trade-offs involving Style, Product and Service throughout the vehicle definition build-up & style phases to move towards achievable definitions in accordance with quality, performance, timing, and cost targets. weekly meetings to the launch of definitions for mass-produced equipment. Ensure that EHE internal arbitration are performed prior their transfer at project level. Leads technical changes: ensures availability and completeness of required documentation (FETE/CR/SOR), their release to purchasing department and follow their progress. Contributes to the change management process with the project. Assess with the meta function. Coordinates activities with others EE PR (module, Powertrain, AVP or SW platform leaders: PWT & module planning synchronisation, change management responsibilities, integration & validation plan and associated synergies, fleet upgrade management, homologation process (EMC, cyber, RF ...) Lead EE deliverables progress & acceptance process for the project in coordination with other EE SSTL, including component design requirements, messaging & network load, safety assessment, cyber security requirements, EE infrastructure choices, 12V requirements, electrical distribution, Electrical schematics, Electrical interfaces, EDS files. Oversees the industrialization phase and the manufacturing convergence. "Reports on EHE activities progress through dedicated process (TCCB, project meetings,.): component design requirements, messaging & network load, safety assessment, cyber security requirements, EE infrastructure choices, 12V requirements, electrical distribution, Electrical schematics, Electrical interfaces, EDS files. Build the milestone EHE review (A3C) with the EHE quality project representative (DQL)" Drives EHE issues convergence for the project: root cause analysis, bug fix identification and validation (through dedicated animation) Discuss with Meta functions manager regarding project core team representatives’ performance. Manage phase preparation with the EHE project core team and collect & compile lessons learned as well. Assembly in specific context (xKD / JV) Leads part release (officialization) process with EHE project core team representatives in consistency with the project planning. Assign and manage EHE resources involved on the project. Ensure that an industrialization schedule synchronisation process is implemented with MBOM responsible, industrialization leader and plant representatives. Contributes to daily markets and reports action progress. Ensure internal communication in EHE (Meta functions) regarding project requests (change management, schedule,) Manage EHE release package management for the project for the different stakeholders (manufacturing, after sales and engineering (fleet management) Ensures that commitments set in the project Engineering Plan are met. Reports regularly progress, achievements & hot topics internally and to external parties involved (ONL, Quality Factory,) Participates in projects arbitration rituals (top hat, module, PWT) to validate proposals that impact EHE commitments (Scope change / EE features / Deliverables & others). Reports on EHE activities & deliverables progress in project coordination ritual
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (INDICATIVE):
Quantitative KPIs including but not limited to:
· Periodic review of one or more Vehicle projects in compliance for Corporate PDP process
· Responsible to monitor and direct the design changes for SW/Hw & drive implementation for regional and
Global to ensure vehicle KPI’s for the selling markets.
· Review TPC for EHE functions and project execution within forecasted budget
· Problem Resolution - Time to fix, Time to close.
· Pre-analysis handling time (parts analysis back from the field).
· Deviations to manage.
· Internal Plant Indicators (DRR, DVx, SCA, status/Repair vehicles, roll bench, wheel alignment, ADAS, …)
· Issues without containment action
· Issues to escalate.
· PPAP KPI (assembling test). Initial Samples verdict delay
· New issues detected by audit
Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in the fields of Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication
Engineering from an accredited university (other Engineering degrees, in combination with relevant
experience may be considered)
· Minimum of 6 years of related experience, Preferred above 8 years.
· Previous experience in Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant or Project team
· Ability to lead an Engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time.
· Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal from High Level Meetings down to the Shop Floor
· Ability to work off shift hours, as necessary.
· Initiative-taking and directed.
· Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects.
· Rigorous and pragmatic
· Languages: Plant language & English
