Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sub-Editor (News Desk) Intern role based in Mumbai. The intern will assist with editing and refining news articles, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and adherence to the publication’s style guide. Responsibilities include monitoring and curating news content, collaborating with reporters and editorial teams, and staying updated on current events to support timely reporting. The intern will also contribute to creating impactful headlines and optimizing content for digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in News Writing, Writing, and Journalism
• Strong skills in Editorial processes and attention to detail
• Understanding and experience with New Media and digital content formats
• Excellent command of the English language with strong grammar and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
• Previous experience or internships in media or editorial work is a plus
