The IT Intern is responsible for imaging and deploying equipment, setting up workstations, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while multitasking with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices such as routers, printers, etc.
- Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance around others' schedules.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems by repairing or replacing parts, debugging, etc.
- Maintain records and logs of equipment.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systems
- Understanding of Microsoft Office applications

- Customer service skills and patience
- Pleasant phone skills and demeanor
- Able to read and understand technical manuals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Physical Requirements
- Minimum manual labor is involved, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- This position requires candidates to have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
