Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Study Abroad Counselor based in New Delhi. The Study Abroad Counselor will guide students through the process of exploring international education opportunities, shortlisting institutions, and navigating admission requirements. Key responsibilities include providing personalized counseling sessions, assisting with documentation, preparing students for visa applications, and organizing informative sessions about available courses and scholarships. Additionally, the role involves building relationships with educational institutions and keeping up-to-date with changing admission guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills to effectively guide and support students.
- Proficiency in research and data analysis to offer accurate information on international education opportunities and trends.
- Knowledge of study abroad pathways, visa processes, and admission procedures for different countries.
- Ability to provide tailored recommendations and organize events or workshops with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools to manage student records and communications effectively.
- Passionate about the education sector with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in a similar role and familiarity with international education systems is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Communication, or a related field is required.
