Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Study Abroad Counselor located in the Greater Coimbatore Area. The Study Abroad Counselor will guide prospective students in selecting suitable international education opportunities, provide detailed information on courses and universities, and assist in the application process. The role also involves conducting research on academic programs, handling queries, and ensuring smooth coordination between students and institutions. Counselors will collaborate with universities and ensure that students are supported throughout their application journey.
Qualifications
- Solid skills in Counseling and Advising, with an ability to understand students' needs and aspirations
- Experience in Communication, Interpersonal Skills, and Public Speaking to effectively engage with students and their families
- Proficiency in Research and Evaluation to stay updated with the latest study abroad opportunities and academic programs
- Organizational and Coordination Skills to manage application processes, track student progress, and handle deadlines
- Knowledge of international education systems is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for efficient communication and data management
- A passion for education and helping students achieve their goals
