Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Study Abroad Counselor role based in Coimbatore. The role involves guiding students and families through the study abroad process, which includes career counseling, assisting with course and university selection, reviewing application documents, and providing support for visa processing. The counselor will also conduct pre-departure orientations and ensure a smooth application journey for students, while maintaining strong communication with global university partners.
Qualifications
- Student counseling, career counseling, and the ability to understand individual academic goals
- Experience in university applications and documentation processes, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of visa procedures and pre-departure preparation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to guide students and families effectively
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficiency with office software and database management
- Experience in the education abroad industry is a strong advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related fields
