Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida for Study Abroad Counsellors. The role involves advising prospective students on suitable countries, universities, and programs based on their academic background, career goals, and financial considerations. The counsellor will conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in person, over phone, and online), respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate records of all student interactions in the CRM system. Responsibilities include guiding students through application processes, documentation, test requirements, and timelines, while coordinating with internal teams for admissions, marketing, and operations. The counsellor will also participate in information sessions, webinars, and outreach events, and provide regular follow-ups to ensure a smooth and positive experience for students and their families.
Qualifications
- Strong counselling, advising, and student-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining accurate records, tracking application timelines, and managing multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools and CRM or student management systems, and comfort working with online application platforms and virtual meeting tools.
- Knowledge or strong interest in international education systems, study abroad destinations, and university admission requirements; prior experience in education counselling is an advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, counselling, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and maintain a student-first, ethical approach in all counselling activities.
