Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Study Abroad Counsellor (UG) based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with an option for partial remote work. The counsellor will assist undergraduate students in navigating the study abroad application process, including offering personalized guidance on university selection, helping with essay and application reviews, and preparing students for interviews. The role involves understanding students’ profiles, conducting research on global universities, and maintaining relationships with families throughout the application journey. Collaboration with the team to develop strategic plans for students' success is a key aspect of this role.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in personalized counseling and guidance, including assessing students' strengths, interests, and goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and institutions
  • Understanding of global education systems, undergraduate application processes, and university requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple applications, timelines, and deadlines
  • Research skills for gathering and communicating information about academic programs, scholarships, and international opportunities
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for collaboration, communication, and documentation
  • Professional approach with a commitment to supporting student success and maintaining confidentiality
  • Relevant experience in study abroad counseling, education consulting, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or certifications in career counseling or education abroad is a plus
