About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Study Abroad Counsellor to guide prospective students through their international education journey. The ideal candidate should have strong counselling and communication skills with the ability to convert enquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective students.
- Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities, universities, courses, and admission requirements.
- Follow up with leads and nurture them through the admission process.
- Schedule appointments and counselling sessions.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable study options.
- Maintain accurate records and update the CRM regularly.
- Coordinate with the admissions and application teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Achieve counselling and conversion targets while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Study Abroad Counselling, Education Counselling, Academic Admissions, or a similar counselling/sales role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, counselling, and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable handling calls, follow-ups, and counselling sessions.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
