Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Study Abroad Counsellor, located in Ahmedabad. The Study Abroad Counsellor will be responsible for providing personalized guidance to students throughout the process of studying abroad. Daily tasks include assessing students’ academic and career goals, helping with university selection and application processes, assisting in preparing documentation, guiding clients through visa processes, and providing pre-departure support. Building relationships with students and families, staying updated on international education trends, and maintaining partnerships with universities are fundamental responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to guide students and interact with diverse stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency in counseling, academic advising, and understanding of global education systems
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle application processes, deadlines, and multiple cases efficiently
- Attention to detail for documentation, application review, and visa process support
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and basic knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage
- Relevant experience in education consulting, counseling, or academic advising is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
- Passion for helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations
