Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Study Abroad Counsellor, based in Trivandrum. The Study Abroad Counsellor will provide guidance and support to students seeking to pursue higher education opportunities abroad. Responsibilities include counseling students on academic programs, visa processes, and admission requirements, assisting with application and documentation processes, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global education systems. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and stakeholders
• Experience in counseling, advising, or guiding students, preferably in the field of international education
• Ability to research and provide accurate and up-to-date information on international universities, courses, and admission requirements
• Organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in application processes and visa filing
• Proficiency in computer tools and software, including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
• Knowledge of multiple countries’ education systems, visa regulations, and cultural nuances is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a client-focused and performance-driven environment
