Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Study Abroad Counsellor, based in Noida. The role involves guiding prospective students through the study abroad process, including recommending suitable countries, universities, and courses based on their preferences and goals. Responsibilities include conducting detailed consultation sessions, providing assistance with application and documentation, liaising with universities, and offering insights into visa and immigration processes. The counsellor will also actively build and maintain strong relationships with students and their families throughout the application journey.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of education systems, admission procedures, and visa requirements for countries like the USA, Canada, Philippines, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to effectively guide and assist students and parents
- Experience in counseling, documentation handling, and working with universities or admissions offices
- Ability to manage relationships, resolve queries efficiently, and provide timely updates
- Proficiency in using relevant technology and tools to track applications and maintain records
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals
- Bachelor's degree in any field (preferably in Education, Counseling, or a related field)
- Prior experience in the education consultancy industry or study abroad counseling is preferred
- Fluency in English and any additional language is an advantage
