Role Description
This is a full-time Study Abroad Counsellor position based on-site at our Zirakpur office near Chandigarh. The Counsellor will assist students by providing personalized guidance on selecting appropriate courses and universities, preparing documentation for admissions and visas, and addressing queries related to study abroad opportunities. Additional responsibilities include conducting counselling sessions, managing client relationships, and staying updated on global education trends and visa processes.
Qualifications
- Advisory and Guidance: Strong counselling skills to guide students through course selection, university admissions, and career planning.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to address queries and build trust with students and their families.
- Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing documentation for admissions, visa processes, and handling multiple cases efficiently.
- Research Abilities: Capability to stay informed about global universities, courses, and immigration policies to provide relevant and accurate guidance.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and database management systems for maintaining student records.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to deliver student-centric services with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and satisfaction.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, or a related field is desirable.
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in education counselling or immigration services is preferred but not mandatory.
