Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Study Abroad Counsellor located in Chandigarh. The role involves guiding students through their study abroad journey, including understanding their academic and career aspirations, recommending suitable courses and universities, assisting with application and visa processes, and providing post-arrival advice. The counsellor will also communicate with international institutions, coordinate documentation, and stay updated on the latest study and visa requirements for various countries. Collaborating with team members and ensuring excellent client service is key to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to guide students and address their queries effectively
- Proficiency in counseling techniques and ability to provide guidance on course selection, applications, and visa processes
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation, timelines, and compliance with requirements
- Knowledge of global education systems, visa policies, and requirements
- Experience in career counseling or education consultancy is an added advantage
- Proficiency in using MS Office and CRM software is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Administration, or related disciplines is required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
