Role Description
The HR & Studio Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role involves coordinating HR activities, supporting recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee and intern records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day studio operations.
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily studio operations, schedules, meetings, and internal activities.
- Manage attendance, leave records, employee/intern documentation, and routine HR coordination.
- Support recruitment by posting openings, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating joining formalities.
- Coordinate with team members on daily tasks, deadlines, follow-ups, and requirements.
- Ensure the studio and workspaces are organised, functional, and ready for daily activities.
- Handle front-desk communication, visitors, calls, inquiries, and basic correspondence.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders for day-to-day requirements.
- Maintain trackers, records, documents, and operational checklists.
- Assist in organising workshops, events, reviews, and studio activities.
- Support basic sales, lead follow-ups, and marketing coordination when required.
- Identify gaps in day-to-day processes and take initiative to resolve them.
- Support the leadership team with regular updates, coordination, and administrative requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, with clear verbal and written interaction with team members, candidates, and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess HR and People Coordination skills, including recruitment support, onboarding, attendance, leave, and employee coordination.
- Candidates should possess strong Organizational and Time Management skills to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Candidates should demonstrate Ownership and Initiative, with the ability to identify tasks, follow through, and get things moving without constant supervision.
- Candidates should possess Administrative and Coordination skills to support daily studio requirements, meetings, documentation, and internal processes.
- Comfort with digital tools for communication, documentation, scheduling, and basic office management is required.
- Experience in HR, operations, administration, studio management, or a creative industry is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in HR, business administration, architecture, design, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
