Role: Student Visa Counselor / Study Abroad Consultant
We are looking for a Student Visa Counselor / Study Abroad Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide students through the complete process of studying abroad , from career counseling and course selection to university admissions and student visa processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional counseling to students regarding overseas education opportunities in countries such as USA, UK, Canada, Australia , and Europe.
- Assist students in selecting suitable courses , universities, and countries based on academic background and career goals.
- Guide students through the entire student visa application process , including documentation and interview preparation.
- Support students with IELTS / PTE / TOEFL preparation guidance and exam planning.
- Help with admission applications, SOP review, LOR guidance, and profile evaluation.
- Offer information on education loans, bank account opening, travel arrangements, and accommodation support.
- Maintain accurate records of student profiles and application status.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents by providing transparent and ethical counseling.
- Handle walk-in inquiries, follow-ups, and lead conversions.
- Stay updated on immigration rules, visa regulations, and university admission policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Business, or related field preferred).
- 1+ year experience as a Student Visa Counselor / Education Consultant / Study Abroad Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of study abroad procedures and student visa requirements.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple student applications simultaneously.
- Sales-oriented mindset with ethical counseling approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
