Role Description The Student Visa Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this position will guide prospective students through the entire overseas education and visa application process, including initial consultation, course and country selection, and documentation support. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions, assessing academic and financial backgrounds, advising on suitable study options, and explaining visa requirements and timelines. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with universities or institutes as needed, and providing ongoing follow-up and support to ensure a smooth experience. The counsellor will respond to inquiries, deliver excellent customer service, and stay updated on changing immigration and education policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Education-related advisory skills.
- Candidates should possess effective Career Counseling abilities to guide students on academic and professional pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, build trust, and handle concerns professionally.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in overseas education consulting or immigration services.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in education, counseling, or related fields, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with student visa processes for Canada and other major study destinations is an advantage.
