Role Description
This is a hybrid internship role for a Student Intern (Website Development), located in Gurugram, with some flexibility for remote work. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the organization’s website while ensuring user-friendly design and smooth functionality. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to gather requirements, implementing website updates, testing for bugs, and optimizing the website for performance and accessibility. The intern will also ensure alignment with the foundation’s mission and branding.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress) and knowledge of basic web hosting principles.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and fix website bugs and performance issues.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-optimized website development is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Figma) is a bonus.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
