Role Description The Student Intern role is a remote, volunteer position designed for individuals interested in literature, writing, education, or media. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with research for literary projects, drafting short written pieces or summaries, supporting content organization and helping coordinate virtual events or discussions. Interns would have to help manage basic administrative tasks such as maintaining shared documents, updating schedules and tracking project progress. Depending on interest and ability, interns can also contribute to social media support, light editing and idea generation for future initiatives. This role offers mentorship, skill development and flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct online research, organize information and follow instructions with attention to detail.
- Comfort with using common digital tools (such as word processors, spreadsheets and video conferencing platforms) in a remote environment.
- Reliable time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Openness to feedback, collaborative mindset and respect for diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
- Current student or recent graduate in any field; interest in English, Communications, Education, or related areas is beneficial but not required.
