About the Opportunity

Student Horizons is looking for a full-time Junior to Mid-Level Software Developer based in Sunshine Coast, QLD.

In this newly created role, you’ll work closely with the original developer of our internal software, taking the lead on migrating and modernising our existing platform. You'll have the opportunity to make the role your own, bring your ideas to the table, and play a pivotal part in shaping the digital future of our company.

Please note: This is a fully in-office role based in our Sunshine Coast headquarters.

Initially a full-time, 3-month contract, the role is expected to transition to a part-time position depending on business needs and project progression.

About You

To qualify, you will need a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates working towards relevant qualifications or holding a diploma with solid practical experience are also encouraged to apply.

A minimum of 1–2 years experience in a software development or IT support role will be highly regarded, but graduates with relevant portfolio projects are welcome to apply.

As our ideal candidate, you will bring not just technical know-how, but also critical thinking skills, initiative, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
