Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Student Counselor specializing in admissions. The Student Counselor will engage directly with prospective students and their families to provide guidance on education and career opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include assessing students' interests and academic backgrounds, recommending suitable courses or institutions, managing inquiries, delivering high-quality customer service, and maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively in their academic and career decisions
- Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills to manage student and parent inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of the Education sector, including admissions processes, course structures, and academic institutions
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with students and their concerns
- Fluency in English and proficiency in other local languages is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Prior experience in academic or career counseling is preferred
